7:44 AM---I find myself completely engrossed in thought as I am driving down the road. I had already reviewed my entire night, every medication, Rash, mouth sore, Blood Product, central line, and lab value. This is often my morning ritual with such a long drive home, but now my mind moved to a more pressing manner---Bryce's Medicine Man report. Yes, you read that correctly--a report----IN KINDERGARTEN. Normally I am not one to procrastinate, but with my schedule the report was left until the second to last minute. I had already printed out pictures photocopied stories and bought a coloring book for Bryce to color. Wow, this Kindergarten stuff is a lot of stinkin' work.
7:56AM--Chuggin' along Parley's Summit I suddenly realize that I have just comsumed an entire bag of M&Ms and a can of Dr. Pepper for breakfast!!! As you can see I am learning nothing in my nutrition class.
10:34 AM--Still awake just waiting for Bryce to get on the bus and hoping that his report makes it to his class unscathed! I don't think I have ever stressed out about any of my own homework this much. Good thing I had that AWESOME breakfast to keep me going!!!

I can't count the times I have eaten cookies for breakfast. Heck, who cares? As long as it keeps us going--that's all that matters. I am not looking forward to Kindergarten--it sounds like a lot of work at such an early age. Oh well, I am convinced Makell is already smarter than I am. I hope you guys have fun at Disneyland-- your kids are going to love it! :)
A report for kindergarten is just wrong! The best thing about this story is that YOU are the one to eat the M&Ms and Dr. Pepper for breakfast and not Bryce. (teehee)Plus you stayed up past 10:34. I'm so proud of you.
That sounds like an awesome breakfast!! And I am glad that teh report got done...wow I guess we go through school again once our kids start school...yikes!! Oh and have fun at Disneyland that sounds SOO fun!!
A Report in Kindergarten? What kind of school does he go to? That is just plain wrong!
Bryce and all you other kids will do just awesome in school! With you helping them along....heck, that is how I made it through!!!
Haha:) YOu remind me of me on my way to school...diet coke and jello or a piece of chocolate megs gave me:) I love ya I know I never see you..it just got to be too hard with working mondays and school so I changed it to sundays:) I love ya tho:) I hope all is awesome with school and kids:)
