Kira turns 6

Kira spent her birthday doing what she loves---Cheerleading.  After that I took her to Toys R Us to pick out a bike.  She was in heaven "test driving"  every bike there.  She finally chose a purple and blue bike with a seat on the back for her dolls.  It is so great to watch her ride around with her doll in tow.  Since we are finally settled in our new house I promised her that we would have a big party with her friends.  We have never had a friend party before.  We both searched all the party blogs and decided on an ice cream shoppe theme.  I had this idea for an invitation with the happy birthday sign and ice cream---the sprinkles were Kira's idea.  She was hilarious posing and trying different looks for the pictures.  She LOVES to be in front of the camera, which works out well when I need to practice.
She is growing so fast I just can't believe it.  She acts like she is a teenager some days, and we are never in short supply of drama when she is around, but I absolutely love her.  Some of her favorite things include cheerleading and tumbling.  Cartwheels have become the way she gets from place to place.  Plain walking just isn't fun anymore.  I usually have to tell her several times to stop cartwheeling down the aisles when we go to the store. (secretly I think it is super cute to watch her cartwheel everywhere)  She also cheers nearly everything she says.  I ask her to clean her room and suddenly it becomes some form of clapping and chanting.  She is also a very talented dancer and picks up on everything so quickly, and I will admit I do live through her sometimes and regret that I ever stopped dancing.  I can just see the joy in her eyes when she dances around--just like her momma.  So blessed to have her in our lives!

Peek-a-boo with Beckham

Beckham's favorite game is Peek-a-boo. He is so hillarious because he never fully covers his eyes. It kills me that he is so thrilled that I can't see him. Anytime someone says, "where's Beckham?" he responds by putting his hands on his face. Sometimes he doesn't even cover his eyes. It is so funny.
"Where's Beckham"
I see him
Oh...There he is

Yellow Belt

Since Football season ended last fall Bryce has been so bored. So after begging and begging, we finally agreed to put him in Karate. He has done so well. I love to see the confidence that is is giving him. He is progressing and has earned his yellow belt. We are so proud of him.
