Bargain shopping

I took a trip to Albertsons today. Armed with my trusty folder, grocery smarts list and coupons I managed to save $164.93. I spent a total of $198.33, so that means I bought $363.26 worth of groceries for only 198.33. I saved nearly 50% It is just unreal. I am loving it!!! I have picked up some awesome tips from my sister in law, Jamie. So these are her ideas that I have found to be helpful.

Okay girl-- you need to share your secrets! What is this magic folder and grocery smarts list contain? My husband and I are big coupon cutters.

You didn't happen to take lessons from my sister Anna did you? She is the coupon, money-saving QUEEN. It's awesome when you learn how to save so much money on groceries. We, meaning my sisters & mom, usually go 1-2 times a month...maybe we will see you around. :) And as Anna would say, HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

We didn't do too bad yesterday. We bought $206 in groceries and only paid $103. So half. We're still not saving 2/3. That's what the grocerysmarts lady told us we should be saving. But we're on our way. :) I do need to get an organized folder. I just don't want to pay for it. :) Maybe Jace IS rubbing off on me.
